Whyy..????

Okay, thanks God, for dropping quite an authentic hint saying, yeah, I am here. So like I said, my best friend Kaushiki is going to Europe today, and it was sort of an unspoken necessity that I go to school today..and I...didn't...

So what do these irritating school-vaale do..??? They go ahead and and select all the school prefects today, (who are by the way, always selected from IX grade only) without any sort of a prior information..
I mean..what the hell..??? They ought to give us some sort of a prior notice or something, that so-and-so is happening tomorrow..but no, expect something normal and decent from ur school..??? U gotta be kidding yourself..
No, I am not the types who are in love with giving others 'punishments' or making lives hell, or willingly make everybody hate them..no..I am actually the cool monitor types who let you get away with everything, and talk more than the ones they are minding..!!
What's bugging me like hell is I was absent...and I wasn't selected (obviously) and now I won't be able to loiter the school with a firm badge on my collar saying I am a prefect, I am doing some serious work here.
I won't be able to take revenge on all the idiotic students I hate, and make their lives hell..!!!
I won't be able to roam on the school grounds after the dispersal bell rings.
THIS SUCKS..!!!!!!!!!

I know, I KNOW, after a point of time, all this prefect thing will be crap. No one to stop u from loitering or doing anything. But for a while, it WILL be there, and I ll have to listen to those idiots. I don't like it. I don't like anybody telling me what to do. I have always hated the teacher's pet monitors.. and have consequently got my name in all the lists. But I don't care man..!!! Who is some bloody student in the class to tell us to do and what not to do..???
Who are they to tell us when to get inside/outside the class or to tell us when to talk and when to not..???? This seriously sucks..!!!!!!!
Not that the prefects can do any of that stuff..all they have to do is stand in the corridors watching everybody leave, at the dispersal time. But still, I wanna do that..!!!!!!!!!! I wanna be a prefect for some reason even I don't know..!!!!!!!!!!!
I have to admit to myself, the main reason is the taking revenge part..!!! ;)

Anyways I just completed this book called Threads, by Sophie Bennet. That is SOME book..!!!!!!!!! A refreshingly GOOD read, what with reading a stupid book by this Indian author who didn't have (or in his language, I should say didn't HAD) the time to revise his grammatical skills..
The book is all about fashion. F.A.S.H.I.O.N. Seriously! I mean you'll be on, like, a fashion roller-coaster ride..going through a refugee girl called Crow, who on the outside seems eerie, but on the inside is just as special..!!! :) She magically makes the protagonist and her BFF's dreams come true, and the whole process is very intriguing.
U might think she's a fairy or something, but she is just one dyslexic specially talented girl..!!! :)
The protagonist is a die hard fashion maniac, and her dressing sense makes just about everyone's eyes pop up and fall right on the ground, although her family is quite used to it..
Her BFF Jenny lands a role in a Hollywood movie, only to be experimented upon with stupid cherry tomato red dresses, that do NOT compliment her. At all.
Her other BFF Edie is a Harvard aspirant, and is henceforth busy all the time doing work that'll collect points on her CV, and sure as hell succeeds at it..!!!! :)
A very witty and funny book, with no villain or anything, just normal selfish people, normal emotions people go through, normal mistake and blunders we tend to make..nothing out of the ordinary..but yet a very extra-ordinary book that will have u hanging on every word.
I loved the book genuinely..!!!!
Of course, the pretty pink cover with a hawt dress and a cute pink heart somewhere in the middle saying "Girls will love it" has the capability to grab a lot of eyeballs..!!!!!
I suggest, every girl really MUST read it..!!!!!

Now back to my procrastinating ways, I still have to go mug up all these "Raheen ke Dohe" from Hindi. Yes, I am gonna rue taking up Hindi and not French as my third language till the day I die..
And it constitutes quite some marks, not to mention the principal (we lovingly call him Pappu which is what he's gonna be called hereon) and the headmistress Ashu Kalra (she can never really be plain ol' Ashu or the headmistress for me..somewhere in my mind, she has registered as Ashu Kalra so thats what I tend to call her all the time..) will be coming to see how we SING (yes..sing..) the Dohe in front of the whole class. Not to mention our Hindi teacher isn't taking the viva (not that I love him or anything..quite the contrary as a matter of fact). Some guys from CBSE are coming all the way from Delhi (at least thats where I am assuming they are coming from..) to take up the dreaded vivas..!!!

God save me..!! Now that u r dropping hints, might as well help me, please..?? :)

Pray for me everyone..!!!!

Ab mai aap se vida lene ka kasht karoongi (basically I am gonna stop writing now..!! :P)
Ciao!
