I am seriously gonna promote this blog now..soonish..!!
One thing I don't understand about some authors..Indian ones, especially. How come u are writing a whole book, when u don't so much as know that the second form of verb is NEVER (I repeat, never ever) used with did. It is the most common, and nevertheless most infuriating grammatical blunder. Random people on Facebook, with DP's showcasing a muscle-man with an oh-look-I-am-such-a-dude-altough-we-are-left-sighing-as-to-why-such-horrendous-looking-people-further-spoil-themselves-with-ever-complementing-sunglasses-when-the-backgroud-very-well-shows-they-are-under-a-roof-not-to-mention-those-to-die-for-strands-of-hair-on-their-charismatic-visages, some junior guy (and quite unsurprisingly some seniors too), I can, to some, extent, understand, that they are nescient and imbecile enough not to know about it. But authors, who are releasing a whole book, with words like colossal,agog, etc, basically quite a good vocabulary, are NOT expected (read should very well not be allowed) to make such sickeningly SAD mistakes..
Like I am reading this book, The Equation of My Love and its parameters by Vikram Rana. Cost me a 100 bucks off of a local bookshop, for the record, but its not worth that sum of money even..!!!!
He is like "she didn't knew; what she was saying" I find it almost impossible to restrain the urge to go and kick the guy in the shins. I mean if u can sit with a Thesarus open, to write/type cool words in your book, you could go through some casual grammar to not make such impossibly stupid mistakes, could u not..???
God, I dunno whats wrong with the editors.. For me, its like, some part of my body is itching, and I cant be calm unless I itch it to my satisfaction. Likewise, I can't rest until somehow I can correct that blunder in every copy of the book, which is impossible, so I am left with an itching body part with no one to come to my aid. Gross analogy..??? I know..!! :)
Plus, we are reading the Nazi Worldview, a chapter on the sickest man to ever walk the soil of our mother planet, seeming to think he had all the bloody power, thinking of himself, as I dunno, some messiah of God, when he very well might have been a minion of the king of hell, if there is one, (thankfully and deservingly, though he deserved it long before it actually happened..it being he died) LATE Adolf Hitler. I was close to tears upon hearing how he literally eliminated the Jews, coz he thought they didn't have the right to live as citizens of Germany, they didn't have the right to live with them, they didn't have the right to live at all..!!! Seriously, who the hell are u to decide who has the right to live and who doesn't..?? I so wish he would be magically born again in the 21st century. I could rip him apart from limb to limb I swear. I'd get a concentration camp made, just for that loser, filled with all sorts of poisonous gases, and kick him inside, to die, in the most un-peaceful manner possible, taking days to die, and his life being living hell for all the days he is (un)fortunate enough to live.
God how I hate him.
Such stuff SERIOUSLY makes me ponder, whether someone's watching us from above..are u there God..??? Why isn't poverty eradicated yet..?? Why are terrorist attacks still so sickeningly common in all parts of the world..??? Why do sick uneducated and undeserving politicians rule our India..???? Why were u so quiet when the most inhumane creature was ruling a whole fricking country and giving himself Your status, assuming his right to decide that Jews were 'undesirable'..?? Why are some innocent people born handicapped..?? Why isn't Osama Bin Laden handicapped...better..why isn't he caught and made to suffer inhumanely, which he very well and truly deserves..???? Why do cases like Ruchika Girhotra occur..?? Why do cases like Junko Furata, the girl who faced 44 days of horrendous torture and even after the poor girl died, in present day, the rapists are freely roaming..??? Why did u let 9/11 or any other bomb blasts for that matter, where an innumerable number of people are killed..and why isn't the world in a true sense equal yet..??? Why is a US citizen always in-charge of the World bank..??? Why won't the Indo-Pak fued come to an end already..??? Why is the world gonna end in 2012..?? Why, why WHY can't u drop a hint, that no, I am really up here, watching everyone, and every good deed u do, is gonna reward u some way or the other, and every bad deed is gonna make u suffer, depending upon the intensity of course..!!!
