Tomorrow is my Socials exam. Hence the sudden interest in politics. Actually..no..its not politics that I am actually concerned about..its just that, there I was..trynna mug up all the features of Democracy, drawbacks and merits when I came upon this sentence: Everywhere, people are adopting Democracy..and it won't be long before we live in a democratic world, hopefully. Thats when, outta nowhere, this thought struck me..democratic world..?? Really..??? No, I am not gonna follow this with the whole I-dont-think-the-politicians-are-any-good-democracy-sucks-we-need-new-leaders blah blah. Actually, I guess it is literally a dictatorship-itic world..at least for all those of us who believe in God. Isn't He, the supreme power who governs us all..?? And dictatorship is defined as a government where a person or a group of people possess absolute power without any limits..isn't it..?? Thats basically what He does too, right..??? But then, maybe its a democratic world up there too. Maybe the zillions of God-s we believe in are up there, in an electoral competition, and when the good ones are elected good things happen. The economy goes up. People fall in love and get married. People get promoted. Steps for the eradication of poverty are taken up. Students pass with good grades. Terrorists die. And when some corrupted ones are elected (someone like Raavan, who isn't dead. Yet.) atrocious stuff starts to occur. Bombs are planted everywhere. People die. Inflation. Recession. Divorce. Violence. Honour killings. Students flunk. Economy goes down.
But then again..good and bad stuff happens together too..so maybe we are divided into states or something..?? Some states have corrupted CMs and some have nice ones. Maybe we are further divided into districts and our DMs and Commissioners are good/bad.
Even as I am writing, the theory is starting to make sense..isn't it..???
So what world do we REALLY live in..??? Democratic..?? Or is there a Dictator out there doing His/Her job..???
Guess I ll have to die to come to know, and sure enough, Socials is already killing me, so the end of me is near..I can totally smell it..I can sense is getting nearer and nearer..getting ready to gulp me down, suck my soul away like the Dementors, only, take my body away too!!!!!!!!!!!!
Harry Potter is the only thing keeping me alive. I started the series..and finished uptil Prisoner of Azkaban. Seriously, it is a SIN if u haven't read Harry Potter. Even I, the Twobsessed, have to admit, that The Twilight Saga, as awesome as it is, stands nowhere near HP series. Its like a whole new world, a very appealing tempting one at that..
I am 14..but still theres this incessant hope inside me which refuses to die, that I ll be getting a letter from Hogwarts soon..very soon...
And it won't hurt, if I'd be as lucky as he is..!!!!!!! :)
Plus, till Goblet of Fire is out of reach, I am reading The Guardian by Nicholas Sparks. So far, a very interesting book. Richard is giving me the creeps though..IDK why..issued it from the school library, and its like all binded and stuff which makes it impossible to read the synopsis at the back..so I have no prior idea of the story..will check it out after I post this..
