So turns out whenever I have absolutely NOTHING else to do, I blog!!

How inconsiderate is that??

Damn, why can I not be as regular as, umm, regular bloggers?? Where do they find it in themselves to blog the whole time?! Maybe I should stuff some money and call a finger massager!! ;)

So anyways, the new best thing in my life is Jonathan Stroud..come in front of me, and I ll wash your feet with my very hands!! I mean, seriously, how amazing can u get?? There should be a limit, you guys agree?

So all of u out there, who are nescient enough to not have heard of him..here's a list of things u should do, right NOW:

• Rush to your nearest bookstore and get a copy of The Amulet of Samarkand, the first part of 'The Bartimaeous Triology', although its NOTHING compared to the second part (which I read today, and I was blown away alright!!) and third part, apparently!

Now that u've done all those things, cuddle up and brace yourself for an enthralling rollercoaster ride of magic, ruthless ambition and betrayal!! (Okay fine, I would probably never be employes as a synopsis writer. I know that, okay?) But its very much all that!!

So anyways..u must be wondering..what's she doing besides reading and loitering around?

As usual, nothing! Those two constitute the whole day for me!! :P No, really!

Although yesterday, me bhaiya and mum went for a short-distance long drive (IT MAKES SENSE TO ME!), I treated myself to yummiest bun-makkhan which is your average bread and butter sort of thing, only it tastes much, MUCH better, and ever better when you are out in the streets at 2 am with the people u love the most!! :)

Anyways, I was BORED with the zillions of I-ve-already-been-addicted-to-you-your-days-are-over songs..and I was in this, I dunno, complacent (for lack of a better word) state of mind, and I downloaded NO OTHER SONG!! The to-die-for Books post

So..like I earlier mentioned..I am a nerd (or what..did I really mention that..?? Whatever..doesnt matter) So basically thats what I am..!! I live to read (now this, I remember I did mention..!!) So expect posts full of book reviews, shitty books, awesome books, books which are BEYOND themselves, et cetera..!!

So here's a list of books u seriously MUST read, I mean u m.u.s.t.!!! Each one with non-Wikipedia details by me..!! :) Personal reader's review..fingers are dying to type..!! Like I just read in this book, You Are Here, by famous 'The Compulsive Confessor' blogger, Meenakshi Meera Reddy..!! She says word clots are like way more hazardous than blood clots..coz blood clots kill slowly for one and for all..but if u dun say what u want to, in some cases dying to say, word clots are formed, which keep haunting u, for I dunno, maybe forever..they come back to haunt u in the scary lonely nights when everyone's sleeping, and keep u wide awake, ruminating throughout the night as to what could have happened/not happened if u had said so-and-so or such-and-such..!!

I added some things, but basically thats what she said..!!

Now if u are looking for some plot, u know some story with a climax and something, anything mysterious..the feeling whats-gonna-happen-now..where's this story going..?? My friend, u need to put the book back on the shelves right now. I mean this second. Right this second. This is SO not what u want..!! It is a plot-less book..!! Its just a mere peek into this 25 years old Arshi girl, who lives an independent life in Delhi, recently broke up with her lying-cheat boyfriend, trying to get a hot guy to like her, cribbing about her job all the time...thats about it..!! Seriously, thats IT..!! I mean the book has nothing else to offer. Her life doesnt settle..there's just a subtle hint that she's going for things she likes. But BAM! The book ends and u are left pondering, or wait, the book isnt as interesting as to keep u pondering for long, that whats gonna happen next..!! Look at the cover, that pretty much sums up the whole story (if thats what you'd like to call it)..!! U pretty much do not need to read the book once u have read the cover..!!

I personally did NOT like the book..!! I mean it is a timepass..u wont really get shit bored..at least I didnt...but in the end when u are done..u are gonna be, like, WHY did I waste my time reading this crap..??? That's what happened to me..!! I didn't like it at all, and it completely disappointed me, almost as much as the cover had me excited..!!! I remember in the beginning, she writes something about how she believes people should only write when they have absolutely have something to say. Seriously, talk about contradiction.

So, like I just re-read I was gonna make this list of the must-read books, so lemme first get to my Top 10 list, before I go on with my rantings, because, trust me or not, they can go on for eternity..!! (And in case u didn't already notice, yeah, I am into exaggerating stuff especially while I am writing..weird much..??)

So here goes The books u MUST read, and if you r haven't read a single book, and nor do u plan to, (I believe everyone is entitled to their opinions) I do not understand HOW u are surviving..!! So much for a list heading..!! *winks*

1. The Twilight Saga: Believe it or not people, once you start reading the the saga, I am pretty sure u r gonna be obsessed with whats gonna happen next. And yes, your prophecy is gonna be wrong almost all the time, because the books are refreshingly unpredictable..!! And yeah, Edward Cullen totally is the epitome of perfectness. He is beauty personified, the embodiment of God (remember how I am in a habit of exaggerating stuff..?? But really, I am exaggerating just an iota over here. Seriously.) So the story's about this shy, introvert, Bella, who doesn't really have friends and is living with her Mom, Renee, who she is really close to, and basically has to act as her mom's mom, most of the time. She is a child of two college sweethearts, which consequently results in her being not so close with Charlie, her dad. But then, one decision by Renee, is the end of life as Bella, her family and an unknown-to-them-as-yet-but-later-to-be-the-most-important-part-of-Bella's-life clan of vampires, as they know it. Okay, I just made the decision sound all significant as if its gonna make u fall out of that chair, or spill that Coke all over yourself. No, nothing like that. She just decides to get married, enter: New husband Phil, and they start travelling, which causes Bella to move in with Charlie. Now, how life completely changes for Bella Swan and Edward Cullen, a vampire belonging to the Cullen family, who like to call themselves vegetarian vampires, what with their strict policy against eating humans, how Bella forms close bonds with the rest of the Cullens Alice, Carlisle, Esme, Emmett, Jasper, Rosalie (names in order of closeness, Rosalie being downright hostile) to her forms the rest of the story. How they fall in love, how he saves her from literally all dangers that may ever come her way, how he loves her to death, how he utterly makes u want to dump your flame and slaughter Bella and be with him, how they have to deal with pain-in-the-butt bad vampires James and Victoria forms the rest of the story... The next installment New Moon, is about how far you can go for the love of your life, or in Edward's case, for your life. Its about the incessant love Bella and Edward have for each other, how very miserable and unendurable life can be. When Edward leaves Bella, her life changes again. She undoubtedly knows that she would never be the same again, never be able to love anyone the same way again, or for that matter, love anyone at all. Enter Jacob Black, an up-till-then insignificant distant guy who has an evident crush on Bella. Only, with Edward not around, does Bella realize how easily she can just, be, around Jacob. But FYI, Bella is a magnet for danger, suffers from life-threatening idiocy, so you'll be half surprised when Jacob turns out to be a werewolf, who are, quite ironically, the enemies of the vampires. But Edward and Bella have something unceasing, and how they get back together, how they come face-to-face with the ancient vampires of The Volturi, and how they indirectly fulfill Bella's wish to be one of them and how Bella comes to deal with the fact that fortunately/unfortunately Jacob is a part of her now, forms the rest of the story... The third part Eclipse is all about choosing. Now Bella knows sure as hell who she cannot live without. But is it really just one person she cant live without..?? Can she afford to be without Jacob, her best friend, her knight in shining armor when she was in the most crestfallen, despondent, hopeless situation in her life, or in anybody's life for that matter..?? Will she choose love over friendship or vice-versa. Will she be alive to choose at all with Victoria hunting her to take revenge and settle scores with Edward for killing her mate James in the first installment..???? The fourth and the final installment deals with the fact that whether Edward and Bella (who by the way, is impregnated to the horror and shock of almost everyone, and gives birth to Renesmee, a half-human half-vampire, and in the process finally changes into a vampire herself) will lead a happily-ever-after (quite literally, vampires never die you know..) life or will it be destroyed forever by the nefarious, atrocious devilish hands of The Volturi..?????
2. The Princess Diaries: I can never ever get bored of reading Mia's journals. They are by far the most kickass journals I have ever read in my life. Mia, a clumsy, shy, unsure teenager who is obsessive-compulsive about a lot of things, with an undying love for writing, and a desire to remain invisible forever, finds her life turned upside down when she discovers that she is the only heir the the throne of the ravishing Genovia, and that whether she accepts it or not, she is a princess, and life is never, EVER gonna be the same again..How this complicates life, turns BFF Lily to an enemy and back to being a BFF throughout the diaries, transforms a crush on BFF's older brother Michael to the love of her life, finds her new friends and another BFF Tina Hakim Baba, finally subdues her quest for achieving self-actualization, hags from hell become true friends for life, and ultimately, completely and thoroughly changes Mia Thermopolis finally recognizes who her friends are, what she wants to do, what she wants to be, how she wants to live her life and becomes Princess Amelia Mignoette Thermopolis Renaldi in the true sense, which of course does not mean she bids life in NYC goodbye and goes to Genovia to rule a country, which was shamelessly portrayed in the second installment of the PD movies. I mean seriously guys, if you like the movie, you are gonna abhor it to no end once you finish the book.

Actually those are the only books I absolutely believe people MUST read. I mean they are in some sort of a way obligated to. I love millions of other books, but these are just really really special books, which make u feel special and grateful too..!! (You'll know what the heck grateful is doing here once you are through with the books..)

I am currently reading the House Of Night series..almost through with the sixth part, Tempted and waiting for this bookstore to call me and let me know they got Burned delivered and I'll go snatch the books off the shelves!! I love the books, but PC and Kristen Cast keep on adding so many guys, and I am in love with this Erik guy from the book, who is supposedly the main lead for like most of the parts until Tempted, when Zoey dumps him because he becomes a possessive jerk. Excuse me, but did he not forgive you when u were being a jerk in all the compartments..??? The most important one, at that. Loyalty. Zoey really becomes a ho at one point of time what with Loren Blake. I mean seriously, she needs to get a life. IDK why it is showcased that all the hot guys fall for her, even when they know she has other boyfriends too, but they are just too intensely in love with her to be affected (much) by that. And in retaliation, she is irritated one time, or she is buzzing them off the other time, or she is not in the mood. Seriously, who are u..?? Queen of England. If she wasnt such a hypocrite, I would love the book more. But dont let the comments made above disorientate you from the fact that I do love the books. I mean they are so damned intriguing. It keeps me on my heels on the time. Whats gonna happen now..?? What will she do now..?? Oh my god seriously, what the hell is about to happen..?? Is he really evil..is he really a demon..??? I am in love with the twists and turns. If only she ends up with Erik. I cant help but hate her for being with Stark and Heath..!! I am still not through to see who she ends up with.

*sigh* That always turns me off..!! :(
