So turns out whenever I have absolutely NOTHING else to do, I blog!!

How inconsiderate is that??

Damn, why can I not be as regular as, umm, regular bloggers?? Where do they find it in themselves to blog the whole time?! Maybe I should stuff some money and call a finger massager!! ;)

So anyways, the new best thing in my life is Jonathan Stroud..come in front of me, and I ll wash your feet with my very hands!! I mean, seriously, how amazing can u get?? There should be a limit, you guys agree?

So anyways..u must be wondering..what's she doing besides reading and loitering around?

As usual, nothing! Those two constitute the whole day for me!! :P No, really!

Although yesterday, me bhaiya and mum went for a short-distance long drive (IT MAKES SENSE TO ME!), I treated myself to yummiest bun-makkhan which is your average bread and butter sort of thing, only it tastes much, MUCH better, and ever better when you are out in the streets at 2 am with the people u love the most!! :)

Anyways, I was BORED with the zillions of I-ve-already-been-addicted-to-you-your-days-are-over songs..and I was in this, I dunno, complacent (for lack of a better word) state of mind, and I downloaded NO OTHER SONG!! Can u imagine??? So one day, after reading this really inspiring article I can recall not a single word of, I decided to ATTACK dilandau!!! Movies

Sometimes (all the time) when I have nothing to do, I sit, and I imagine, and I end up ruminating about 'absolutely stupid' (like Mauli wisely said) stuff. Like..what would life be like, if we had no movies? Now..u see where I am going? Where would we go then, on romantic dates, hanging out with friends, bonding with distant cousins and relatives? What would we do on birthdays, vella-days, end of examinations??
I saw two movies today!

1. Tere Bin Laden: Intelligent. Really intelligent! I loved the whole ullu da pattha thing!! Ali Zafar is so adorable when he innocently picks up a dropped knife and walks over to the air-hostess, with ulterior motives of romancing her, only SHE thinks his ulterior motives are altogether in a different direction, and he's deported! Poor lad! He has to work in this really shitty "Danka" pakistani channel, with a shittier boss, and a fat but great friend! BF, I call it..B: Best/Belly! And Noore was amazingly dumb!!! I honestly thought they were all gonna die, and its not gonna be such a laugh anymore, but Noore-the idiot of a superman- saves the day! And their lives! Must-see!!!
2. Rajneeti: Now I'd been meaning to watch this, from like, an eternity or something, but I am too big a sloth to even bother searching for DVDs, when I downloaded it, something hindered the process and then I completely forgot about it.. Not to mention that Chotti saw it first day third show, and as soon as she came back, I RAN to her place and she told me the whole story, word by word, describing the places, dresses, hairstyles, expressions, EVERYTHING! So then I kinda lost interest! (Yeah, the DVD and downloading thing came later in the chronological order)..but today I was hooked on TV, so first I saw Tere bin laden, some Friends re-runs, VH1 Top Ten and then RAJNEETI! And although I knew the whole story beforehand, I loved the movie! Even though I had a hard time figuring out if I liked Ranbir's character more or Arjun's! I am die-hard Ranbir Kapoor fan, but for some recondite reason, I absolutely ADORED Prithvi. Plus, the movie totally engrosses u! I genuinely liked Katrina's character too, but I hated Sara Thompson! I didnt really understand the whole Mahabharatha thing, which mum kept pointing out ALL the time.. "Ohh...so Ranbir's playing Arjun..yeah..that justifies it..OHH..So he's Shakti mama (something like that)..and papa decided to watch it although he is not much of a guy who, well, watches movies..He was all cool with it initially because it was "his thing"..but soon he started criticizing EVERY bloody thing and I had a hard time asking him to (politely of course) leave the room or shut up. Seriously, if u watch even Dance India Dance with him, and its a romantic duet, he'll start all "Whats all this nautanki..whats wrong with today's gen..natak karte hai ye log..this is a circus (regarding hip-hop) so I prefer NOT having him around when I am actually watching something! :P

So that sums up my day! Plus, I stumbled across this website called LibraryThing which is REALLY cool..all you avid book freaks like me, try it!

I finished Where Rainbows End..its such a beautiful book!

And yeah, no brownie points there, I started another book, obviously! Every Breath You Take (Judith McNaught)..I'd actually started reading it before I started WRE, but then I kinda abandoned it midway because I am reading it on the computer, and hard copies I prefer ANYDAY (WRE= hard copy) So I am back on track..and its an amazing book..its mystery plus romance, what more could u ask for?

Confessions of a list-o-holic

Okay, I know I haven't been making much here, but I am a list-o-holic. I love making lists! It may be anything..from people I hate the most (believe me I have a LONG list)..to things that irritate me the most..to my favorite movies/shampoos to the most likely things that are sidetracked today but might be of vital use in the coming years (geeky much?)
So anyways I was bored, for a change, because all I have been doing in the Dussehra holidays (5 fricking awesome days!!) is reading, reading, reading, downloading but not watching movies because there's so much to watch on TV, hanging out with friends, SLEEPING and EATING!! Its amazing how much one has to do in holidays!! So much that I have had to ignore Yashwi/Kaushiki/Varsha's calls!! Really! Like I pick up and say "I ll call u back" but I never get around to it! I am COMPLETELY off-school that way!! Except of course thinking at night of new ways to kill my facking English teacher (she does NOT deserve to be called a teacher though..so lets just call her a wannabe something) VANDITA. What a bitch she is! Especially all the tut-tut sounds she makes, makes me wanna STRANGLE that ugly face of hers..I have heard she is a divorcee! I wouldnt normally say this, but I cant help but NOT feel sorry for her..I sympathize with her (ex) husband!!! Poor lad had to be married to a sickeningly infuriating idiotic bitch!!

Okay, so like I was trynna say, I got bored for a change and starting reading the Mr. Blog dearest when I suddenly thought "man! NO LISTS HERE! Is this my blog??" So as I am in a mood, plus there's 'Adhoore' from Break ke baad playing in the background, a new song I absolutely ADORE!! Sheer randomness!

Right now, I feel soo random its not even funny!

Did I mention that I just got married??? Shocked much??

Well yeah, I got married to Ian Thorton, who people earlier thought-might I add, quite correctly- was just a careless gambler, but he's just inherited his father's title and unknowingly all his land and fortune. So I am the Countess of Havenhurst AND the duchess of Stanhope..how cool is that??

I know I know, I am married to Edward alright. In fact, we've been married since like forever!! I am a vampire right? We got bored of being TOGETHER together all the time..no no, dare u gimme that look!! That was bound to happen..we decided to take a break!! :)

Ian in really cute! And tall. And handome. Breathtakingly handsome. Stupendous personality..I AM SO IN LOVE WITH HIM!! And whats the most awesome thing ever?? He loves me too!!! :)

Plus, I just auditioned for So You Think You Can Dance!!!! I was the best, obviously..I got selected!!! Actually, the results aren't out yet..but Alice told me already..I am going to win! Vote for me anyways, please!!!!

Oh, and I just fought with quintains, and the crossbars hit me with a sword, so I was hospitalized..sad, isn't it?? I was supposed to take Ian on a tour of Havenhurst today..but damn that knight!!! :X

So had enough of the excuses?? What I have ACTUALLY been doing is lazing around. Looking for lazybones?? Right here my friend, right here!
Here's my routine. Mum wakes me up (yeah..for some reason, the sound of alarms falls on deaf years when it comes to me)..crib for like ten minutes..mum finally shouts..I make a face (which she can't see though..cause its like really dark when its 5! :/) drag myself..the usual getting-ready stuff..go to school..get scolded off by every teacher (seriously..people say karma's a bitch..I say luck!), and obviously I answer them back and as a result..with the exception of like two teachers, every other subject teacher hates me. The feeling's mutual and I honestly could NOT care less! But consequently, I am gonna have to make sure I do good in all tests..that'll show them! Talk about DESULTORY!! So well, then I come back, literally jump onto the bed after sulkingly eating lunch, which ALWAYS constitutes of some or the other green vegetable..but at least I can have cauliflower salad, which ROCKS! Anyways then I just laze around..sleep..eat..watch TV..download movies..facebooking..call friends and chat for HOURS..hang out in the appartment with Mauli/Neha di/ Aarushi di/ Chotti, come back..AGAIN watch TV..AGAIN surf..eat..and YET AGAIN watch TV..sleep..get up..and the same ol' story..OH, and on alternate days, I have to endure my gay tutor..but well, I survive because he is SO easy to distract..as a result..we talk for like 45 minutes and supposedly study for 15 minutes..
YES, And all this when I had promised that I WON'T waste time and actually study, thanks to my not-so-good results this time..but as always, I don't even feel guilty for NOT following it..then again..who said I had the strongest will power when it comes to studying and stuff?? :)

God, sometimes I kinda get stunned and blown off all over again by the intensity of my joblessness!!! I have absolutely NOTHING to do..in the last ten days, I completed five Judith McNaught's and I loved every single one of it..I am starting the sixth one now..called 'Every Breath You Take'..its sounds sickeningly quixotic, I know, but its not..not really, I mean..of course when youre reading Judith, you HAVE to love quixotic, which I do, but its not sick. Really! Plus, all her historicals toh totally revolve around romance, but all her modern romances have a touch of mystery in the background all along which makes it really cool!! God, I LOVE her!!!
I keep telling my friends to read..but ahh..who listens to me?? Neha di is the only one who kinda reads (special emphasis on kinda) but only hard copies..I happen to have no problems whether the books are hard copies or on the computer as long as they are good and I am reading!!! :)
Exhibit 1: Twilight, the saga I ADORE and was my absolute favorite until I read Harry Potter, I read the WHOLE saga on the PC..because it wasn't really popular in India back when I read it, so this online friend of mine told me to try it, and I did and the rest is history in making!! :) Anyways so then I couldn't wait for a second and I kept downloading until I had read the whole saga all in a whoosh!!!! And THEN I went for the hard copies!! I have read all the four books at least five times. And I am NOT exaggerating! :)

Anyways..you guys HAVE to listen to Someone Like You by Boys Like Girls..and Pop Princess by Click Five!!! I am addicted!! :)
Plus, if you're an avid reader like me, and happen to like historical romances..give Whitney My Love, Until You, A Kingdom of Dreams, Something Wonderful, Almost Heaven and Once and Always a try!!! =) Start with Whitney My Love btw!!
